It all started when...

I was falling asleep at my desk. Luckily, I had a close friend that was hands-on interior decorator and upon quitting my job, I called her up. It was 30 years ago that I began work with her. In several houses and business I learned the trade of painting and wallpapering, as well as coordinating fabrics and decor. 

I branched out on my own in the Greenville, South Carolina area. There I came across a faux painter in one of my clients' homes. The finish she created just blew me away. "Wow!" I thought, "I'd never seen anything like this." She created a beautiful finish with a few colors of paint, a sponge, and a rag. I was hooked!

That was 25 years ago. I have since studied with several artists in the industry up and down the east coast. Today I still enjoy the creativity, the clients, the work, and most of all, the finished product. Fauxing is my passion.
